NEA Jazz Master David Liebman is considered a renaissance man in contemporary music with a career stretching nearly fifty years. He has played with masters including Miles Davis, Elvin Jones, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, McCoy Tyner and others; authored books and instructional DVDs which are acknowledged as classics in the jazz field; recorded as a leader in styles ranging from classical to rock to free jazz. He has performed on over 500 recordings with over 200 as a leader/co-leader featuring several hundred original compositions.

Jeff Coffin is an internationally recognized saxophonist, bandleader, composer, educator and author who has been traveling the globe since the late 20th Century. He is a 3x Grammy Award winner from Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, and played with them from 1997-2010. In July 2008, Jeff began touring with Dave Matthews Band, and officially joined the group in 2009 following the tragic passing of founding member LeRoi Moore. When not on the road with Dave Matthews, Coffin fronts his own group, Jeff Coffin & the Mu’tet, teaches at Vanderbilt University, and presents clinics around the world. In 2011 he started Ear Up Records as a place for emerging as well as established talent.

An extremely gifted and versatile bassist, Victor Wooten is a highly acclaimed performer whose work straddles the lines between jazz, bluegrass, funk, and progressive rock. Easily considered among the top echelon of bass players in history, Wooten first came to prominence as a member of the Grammy-winning ensemble Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. New Orleans born pianist/singer/composer Chris Walters is an independent artist who has resided in Nashville since 1989. He tours as Music Director/pianist for Sony Music Masterworks Recording Artist JD Souther, opening each show with a set of his own original music. He also tours as keyboardist with Little Flock Artist Peter Mayer, and with the Jeff Coffin Mu’tet. He’s performed with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and recorded the soundtrack for a documentary film scored by Bela Fleck. At the age of 18, he was a finalist in the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra’s Gershwin competition. Chris attended the Jazz Studies Program at Webster University in St. Louis and was listed by them as a notable alumnus in Downbeat magazine.
